The goal is to retain the factory battery in the factory location. I'll need a few months for design/fab and testing and I already have the 2 test subjects picked out.
Many people will like keeping the batt in the stock location that's for sure.

this is the main reason i didnt go with the LS1 tb....but with the possiblity of a near future upgrade to cams and a smaller pulley, i may benefit from upgrading my tb now...just dont feel like putting the battery in the trunk right now.

I said F it, my first setup on the track car will be with the LS1 TB, and im relocating the batt. to the trunk,
I love the direct to fender intake that relocating the battery gives you the option to do also.
But If I wanted a stock or "bolt in" style LS1 adapter for a cleaner look and easier install Id want one....
So yeah Im in....
For my other more daily used project car that will love a bigger TB, 3.1 pulley, and HPT!
well my batt is going in the trunk anyways,
so if anyone is willing to sell out the 1st design ... thanks..
i have the TB already and i want to install it asap
