Well I have been figting this manifold for almost 2 weeks, from what I hear there are lots of people running it, I got the from Eric Knight. Anyone see these issues?
1. The runners on the manifold do not allow the stock nuts or even smaller nuts to be put on and tightened, I put a lead on in the cast part with a ball end mill on the bridgeport.
2. the middle bolt on the turbo mani to head cannot be accessed, wrench is impossible because of the water pipe below and so I used a socket head cap screw, cut the allen key in half and the t/3 flange is still in the way, so I shaved down 2 of the 5 allex points and can barely tighten it.
I would have bought or made a tubular but all of my oil lines ( braided ) and downpipe are already done / statred, got it put on and upon tightening the last bolt it stripped the thread in the manifold, so I drilled and tapped for 12mm by 1.25
What a pain in the @ss!!
Primaily just looking to see if anyone has done anything different with it and worked out.
Thanks

Really? What do u mean you put hardware on the one that didn't fit? How did u even get it to fit that way?
I didnt have this problem with mine bit the wastegate didnt fit lol but a tial would hahah
Ya chris
I made a rotation flange to take care of that part.
The studs that I couldn't put nuts on I just rocked it without them and didn't have any problems

You could always make a nut for it.
Make it like a 1" long cap nut and then cut a smaller head size.
Miller - same here
Philly - custom make a nut? Seriously? Tried everything, had to take the turbo apart to get the flange on.. This was the biggest pain I have ever dealt with turbo wise.
I have the old style welded manifold and it worked excellent. Of course it has been heavily modified and flows excellent. I'll sell it cheap!
