Ok I been doing some reading but have not found a solid answere , I'm about to boost my 03 cavalier, I'm on the fence of going saab kit or custom t3, would I be able to run the gm reflash with a t3 turbo somewhat decent? Also the gm reflash is maxed out at 14.7psi? I plan to run a 16g t3, all I'm looking for is 105mph at the track, should I go saab or t3? This car will be a daily driver
Personally i have had nothing but trouble with the GM Crapflash and would never run it. It is still an Alpha-N tune that will not see boost.
What you recommend as far as tune ?

If you HAVE to run the reflash then it will only support the Saab setup. And by support I mean itll just work.
What type of problems are people coming across with the reflash, also where can I find more info on p&p tunning?
Should I just try hp tuners? I would love megasquirt but there are no plu and play kits and I suck at wiring
i would reccommend hp tuners, also look at the search function for gm crapflash for the issues regarding that.
Can 105mph traps be attained with the saab set up? On like 12psi ?
Fastest time I've ever saw on a stock Saab setup was 13.2 in the 1/4.
With a proper tune and a upgraded turbo you may be faster.
Well I just got off the phone with a local shop very well respected here in San Antonio Texas, and they can tune hptuners on cavaliers, now I need to decide if I should go saab for cost , or custom t3 since it'll be easy to upgrade turbos
Ok how many psi can the saab turbo be efficient to? And where can I get a upgrade for it?
My biggest issue with the crapflash is that it would randomly richen up and make the car undrivable until i pulled over and restarted it. It did it once on the highway and i had to shut it off and restart it while i was at ~50mph.
Yeah I saw a few people had that issue, now I'm thinking of going with the saab set up but tune it with hp tuners, how much boost could I run on that turbo?, I saw abbot racing makes an upgrade, but I would like to fully Max out the stock turbo
