on stock pulley was running 7psi now i put on 2.8 zzperformance zz tensioner over sized tensioner pulley and im only pulling 9psi on a good day checked bypass seem to have no problems anyone know wuts going on???????
Ya buddy
Yea that's not right. Does it stop gaining boost at a low rpm like 4k. Or does it climb all the way to redline.
If it's stoping at a low rpm I would say the valve or the blower itself if it's climbing the whole way to redline it could be a bad gauge

check gauge about 4k it stops at 9psi took all vacuums off valve still same thing
Ya buddy
maybe your engine flows better
pressure isn't everything

Do you have the heatexchanger hooked up? And what's your vac at idle?

What exhaust are you running, stock l61? intercooled?
"In Oldskool we trust"
running header and 2.5 pipe, intercooled, stock l61 vac @ idle 17 ish car is driving me crazy really think belt is slipping on harmonic balancer want to get rite before my last tune till i build billet motor
Ya buddy
feels like turbo car with 10 psi waste gate but no lag lol
Ya buddy
Didn't realize you're running the stock sized belt. Even with the oversized tensioner I bet the belt is slipping. I'm running a stage 2 belt on a 2.9 without the oversized tensioner and it's the perfect size. So I'd guess your belt is just a little too big. You may or may not have to swap back to the stock sized tensioner with a stage 2 belt but you'll have to wait and see.
When you watch the boost gauge does it go to 9psi right away and stay there or does it start to bleed off?
"In Oldskool we trust"
gos to 9psi and stays
Ya buddy
belt is super tight tho
Ya buddy
The belt may be tight, but remember the faster you try to spin your blower the more resistant it is to spinning so enough tension at 5psi does not equal enough tension at 9+psi. I had some slippage issues and I bought the adjustable tensioner that ZZP sells, problem is gone.
i have zzp tensioner already
Ya buddy
Any rattles or noise other than the characteristic whine from the supercharger? I still think your belt may be slipping but just trying to cover everything.

You said your Vac is at 17, is that in inHg? I idle ~21inHg/10psi. Might want to check for a Vac/boost leak at your IM gaskets.
no vacume leak checked with carb cleaner and no noises last nite i put cross cuts in blower pulley and harmonic pulley still the same boost so i really dont know wuts the deal
