Hey guys. I just need a little info on how I would set my boost on a gt1752 that has had the wastegate welded shut for use of an tial bov.
You need a wastegate. Either grind the weld off and try to get the old one functioning, get a new housing and actuator, or put a waste gate before the turbo. Those are your only options unless it's a drag car I have seen people run them without wastegates or bovs but that's a dangerous game.

You obviously have alot more reading to do before you boost anything.
Yup....that's exactly why I'm asking questions about it. But I only paid 60 for it and a stainless downpipe all the fittings and guage....so I can deal with 20$ worth of welding but thanks for the input.
