So I recently got exhaust on my car. 16g turbo 8psi. I noticed today that when I roll into first gear and then floor it to redline, that it pops like it's hitting some kind of limiter but this happens before it gets to redline. Is the stock tach just that slow that I actually am getting to the limiter before the tach is showing me that? the car is also running very rich, so maybe that's a factor? I'm just not trying to break anything
Yes. in first gear with a motor making power it is not uncommon to hit rev limiter before tach reads so.
