Hello new guy here My name is Dave.
My Brother bought a 2004 Cav with the M64 S/C kit and it has a High idle. This is what little I know about the set up. ECU was flashed but gets a Map sensor code, I cant remember what size the Injectors are but they are the largest you can get is what the PO said.
It idles around 2000 rpms and stays there after the car is running. The rpms also drop slowly when you let off the gas. We did search for a vacuum leaks by using carb cleaner but did not find any.
Also the adjusting screw where the throttle opens will not budge to turn it down.
Where is the map sensor on these cars?
On the stock, naturally-aspirated 2.2 Ecotec, I believe it's behind and underneath the throttle body, on the intake manifold. I'm not too sure where the MAP ends up once you install the M62. There's also a choice of MAP sensors you can use for the setup (1 bar stock or 2 bar).
Attached is a picture of the stock 1 bar sensor.
While not exactly what you asked for, hopefully it will lead you in the right direction.
