Cometic 2.4 headgaskets if your interested look

ok well im going to make this happen for sure this time, but first need alittle help,

-need someone that has a spare block & head in the columbus ohio area, cometic would need this to produce the gasket tool, and then return it
need to know the following:
-O.E.M gasket thickness (i belive its .048 but need to be 100%sure),
-O.E.M gasket material??
-stock bore size???
-max bore size(est)

now i havent been given an exact price on the gaskets, cause they need the info above, and then they well have a meeting on it etc. etc. and get back to me on pricing, now it would be great if we could get 50 people, but if there is less im going to pay the extra to make this happen so add your name if you would purchase one

i wish you seriously mad luck...

we tried this for the 2.2 ohv a while back and the results sucked... they always need 50 people and they are usually 60$ each...
which is 3000$

hopefully you get it done man

I belive cometic will make custom gaskets for $280.00 if you only wanted one. I could give them a call since i have an official dealer account with them.. im sure that i could get them to make these gaskets if anyone.

brian, give them a call cause i know nick, and brain want one along with my self, and looks like geekd needs one pretty soon, along with robert, but when i called them they said they have talked about it before but still wasnt decided so we would have to do a 50 gasket purchase

mike- they make gaskets for the eco, but the 2.4, 2.2, 2.3 each would have to have an 50 gasket purchase to have the tool developed

Good for me I am swapping an Eco into my car.
Man I was interested in that thing, but it is soooooooo fricking hard to get the A holes to make it I am just thinking it is not even worth it.
Ef them.

I wish I still wanted the gasket so I can help you guys with the production and stuff, you can also have them make it like .120 thickness to lower your compression for more boost, but I am not interested in LD9 anymore, and I quiet frankly don't think this is going to happen.
They must have had at least 50 people bug them about it and I even called them the 1st time to ask about it, and then the 2nd time when Marty Ladwig told me to (GM Sunfire driver) and they still said no.
Now they are saying that noone asked them about it. Bunch of liars.
