2.7 Puulley Boy
Ok so when you scroll down to select what size and stuff you want, what do i need? For Hub Selection, do i want to select "No Hub, Pulley Only" or "Fits GM 3800 Series. . ." And do i need a hub removal plate?
Thanks.

click the fits gm 3800 engines, i have that setup its nice, you wont need the hub remobal plate unless you decide to remove the hub, but for 10 extra bux might as well get it now just in case.

i just told u click it so it says fits gm 3800, its 80 dollars more cuz u get the hub, if not you're only getting the pulley. and u cant put a pulley on w/out the hub. and yes teh pulley boys fits on the charger, ya gotta heat up the hub and slide it on just like the embree. I just put the hub in a bench vice and heated it up slowly with a blow torch, make sure you hurry when u slid it on cuz it cools reaaaally fast and once it cools ya cant move it. Oh and when ur puttin the hub on, since its gonna be hot as heck, get a bunch of wet rags soaked in cold water and wrap the snout with it. Itll keep the heat soak down a bit .

NOTE: If you purchase a 2.7" pulley or smaller, your factory nose drive will require machining in order to allow for enough clearance of the pulley.
so if i buy the 2.7" pulley i have to get machining done or is that only on the gtp's?

Andy, (Mr. Pute), has had a 2.5 on I believe. Im almost positive he didnt have to maching anything.

I also have another question...
With the purchase of the 2.7" pully, are you required to change the belt as well? or will the tensioner pick up the slack on the .1" of size lost?
Portage, MI
I had to file down the snout a little. Big deal. I did it right on the spot with a swiss army knife.
Jayson,
You need the hub and the pulley. Don't get the removal tool. It's not really needed. I pulled off a defective hub from my s/c with a heavy duty 3 jaw puller.
The 2.7" pulley won't need a different belt, especially if you have the gatorback that GM included in the later kits. My 2.5" needed a new belt. I was slipping pretty badly (couldn't build more than 5psi) with my old belt (that I'm assuming was the original belt.
