eeesh look at those flows though!

45 PPH @ 12 PSI; 65 PPH @ 21 PSI

that might be a bit too big!

Do they fit?

Those will fit, but there are some considerations.

1) Those are TBI injectors, which are about 1.2 Ohms each. Putting 4 of those on a batch fire ecm will proabaly kill the injector drivers.

2) As noted, they flow a bunch of fuel.

So far, I haven't seen a better match than the Saturn TBI injectors that I'm using. The Saturn injectors flow (I'm going from memory here) 52 lbs/hr at 30 psi fuel pressure. I'm using a shortened stock pressure spring in a modified AFPR to drop the fuel pressure below 24 psi static. I've also modified my ecm by installing upgraded injector drivers to handle the additional current the tbi injectors use, and I've got different sense resistors so the peak and hold circuit works correctly.

I think my ISP shut down the server where my web page was, otherwise I'd direct you there for more information.

As an aside, I think my calibration is just about good enough for release to the general public. I've been letting my wife drive the car for the last three days. When she says it's fine, then I'll know almost anyone can drive it without problems.

I've been running the car this way for about a year. Problem for most people is, I'm driving a 2nd gen with an OBDI ecm. I'm at 7psi, non intercooled, and using 87 octane fuel.

I can't find anything with less flow on their website. Everything they have for info, I have.
There are 2 injectors that I've found that have a remote chance of working. One is the Saturn injector from a 91-94 TBI SOHC engine, the other is from a 90 - 92 Lumina 2.5 TBI. Both of these injectors are rated at 30.5 psi which means you can drop the pressure to reduce flow. Other TBI injectors are rated at 10 psi which means you can't do much to drop pressure.

I actually have 3 brand new injectors from the 91 Lumina which I am not using. I bought 3 and had the 4th on order when I found the Saturn injectors. They're big, 62 lbs/hr (600+cc.min ) @ 30.5 psi fuel pressure. But anyone wanting a big injector for a side feed 2.2 might be able to use these. By dropping static pressure to about 10 psi, they'd flow 35 lbs/hr (340 cc/min). One of the advantages to runnning a large injector is that the fuel pump volume is generally higher when pressure is lower.

But keep looking for replacement injectors for the side feed. This is the biggest issue for the 92-97 2.2 guys to overcome.

Slowolej, is completely right about those injectors I recently purchased the saturn injectors (52lbs/hr) they drop right in and work great but it also helps that I have a tec3r engine management system, which gives me complete control over the impedance and the injector opening time. Basically full control over the injector. So thanks Slowolej for solving my lack of fuel problem.....

LOL!!

Now I can't claim that I'm the only person running these injectors. I'm almost sad. Actually, it's good that someone else decided to try 'em.

I dunno if I can help with tuning the tec3, but lmk if you run into problems. I've got a *few* hours of practice time with mine.

as for the flow rates, just because they flow alot doesn't mean they won't work well. you just shouldn't run the car with them untuned. i'd get some sort of base tune done to slow the flow down before doing the extensive tuning. what to do about batch fire? because i'm interested in these...

so major for right now it looks like we have to stick to a topfeed conversion because i refuse to do the six-injector method.

I don't remember any final conclusion on these injectors, and a quick search doesn't reveal your post.

What have you found that makes them not work?

i got the p/n for the 32pph @ 12psi 45pph @ 21psi
p/n# 522-81
i am going to call holley and find out these injectors

Well, at least you don't have to go to the Saturn dealer anymore to buy the Saturn TBI injectors. Looks like Holley sells 'em, too.

32pph @ 12psi, 45pph @ 21psi, 51 lbs/hr @ 31 psi

I bought mine at the junkyard for $15 each, since they don't know they're selling a "performance" injector like Holley does.
