I've searched but didnt find a definate answer. I have a greddy rebic III injector controller and i'm wondering were i can hook up the wire to get and rpm signal on my 2.4. i've heard the pink wire, i've heard the white wire, which one actually gives the rpm signal?

the only way to get an rpm signal is to go to the ecu and find ur tach wire and tap into it from there. that is what i had to do for my tach.
On 96-99 J-bodies, there is a Tach signal output under the fuse cover box in the engine bay. Just slip the wire in there and you have a full tach signal. Not sure how it would be on your Alero.
O noes!
pink wire on the idi connector will have it, but it only fires every 180 degrees
14.82 @ 97 mph
thanks guys...i'll try a few of the things mentioned. if nothing works, i'll run a MSD tach driver.
