clocking turbo?

My t3 super 60 just came in the mail today. After a test fit on the manifold I see that my oil port isnt going to be straight up and down. But I cant figure out how to spin the turbine side. I loosned the 6 bolts on the compressor side and it spun around easy. I loosned the same bolts on the turbine side and it wouldnt spin. Am I missing something?

The turbine side is pressed on by those bolts. You can't just loosen them and spin it usually. you have to tap on the housing with a rubber mallet or something to try and looses it enough to spin.

I cant take all of the bolts the whole way out because its watercooled and there aint enough room. I did loosen all of them tho. I tapped it with the mallet a couple times and it spun a little. But then my turbine wheel got all jammed up and wouldnt spin... I tappped it back the other way and it spins fine. Im gonna try again later.

Problem fixed. For every 2 or 3 whacks to make it spin I had to tap it on the downpipe side to level it out. Spins perfect and is at the angle I need.

GAHHHHH it jammed up? check it REALLY GOOD for cracked fins. they are made from exteremely hard material and will crack easily. it may have also bent the shaft a little. just check it really good.

Nothin is broke and it spins great. I dont know why it was so hard to spin.... Hopefully that means the seals are better and there is less chance for leaks.
