mmm turbo parts

finally making some progress. the JBP cam took since january to get here (gasp) good thing I don't plan on building the bottom end until winter.

MmMMmMMM LIFT

ebay T series manifold. Awesome quality welds. Just needs a nice coating of ceramic from the local metal plating company.

its coming along VERY slowly, but there will be at least one more turbo 13 second OHV in the future...

Not a super 60 but Shifted is selling a T3? Don't know what type of shape it's in! But stick with the Super 60 man as I plan to! On the other 2200 that is!

very nice man

that took since january to get to you? sh!t maybe I should order mine now!

can you order custom grinds? I have a higher ratio rocker, so I wont need as much lift.

I'll have a built 2.2 next year too

13's? maybe

the race is on

BTW I know the guy that makes those manifolds.. He lives 20 minutes away from me.

He's promised to come out of retirement one more time for me

he retired? wow that sucks he makes very good stuff especially for the price

I'm pretty sure JBP does do custom grinds, but the reason I had to wait so long was because they were waiting for cores to come in... plus i ordered a LOT of stuff so I think some of my orders kinda got caught up in the mix LOL

just call them up JBP will do you right.

I got the same mani off e-bay 6mo ago or so. Check the exhaust inlet side for flattness, check the angle of the t3 flange. I had to make a trip to the shop & mill 1/4 of the t3 flange and mill inlet to get it flat. the flange was also wielded at too low of an angle for my t3/t4. Had to cut it off and angle it up a little. I was pissed when it didn't fit, but its good now! hope yours works out better!

I think I got lucky as far as quality control goes with these manifolds. My friend rich bought one when he turbo'd his ecotec and his was pretty nasty too

but mine looks fairly straight... it doesn't wobble on a flat surface at all. The t flange might be a problem, but I don't know yet I can't mock it up since I don't have a turbo yet.

I originally had a t3. that just barely fit. (b4 cut and milled) The t3 was used junk. Went to a new t3/t4 (think its a super60?) Thats when I hit the flange problem. Nothing a recip saw, grind & weld couldnt fix. It was still a good price, so no way I will make a big fuss. EZ fix.

wow I completely m essed up my previous post... how embarassing

well the super 60 is the turbo I'm looking that will suit my needs (10psi stock block, 15psi built bottom end) I was looking for something that would be happy so when I build the bottom, I don't have to get another turbo all over again.

I have to learn to weld one of these days so if the mani needs modification, its all good. Thanks for the heads up tho I appreciate it

I have the same mani as you.......... fits well just watch the size of the turbo you use it will hit the rad if you get a big one ....... I have 1/4" clearance with a super small t3 ...... 60 trim, 42 ar, and a 49 turbine .......... small ........

watch it ...

After adjusting, I have 1/4 or less from rad, 1/2"from hood with the super60. It is TIGHT!
