Fuel Setups

Okay guys I have searched alot in the forums and also in regs

What I want to know is pretty much what type of fuel setup you are running and your success with that setup

There is alot of people who do not post their setups i their reg and most of the posts about fuel are about the problems they are encountering

I would like to know what has gone right .....

The only thing I have not completely figured out for my turbo setup is the fuel system, I have a temp setup I am using but I would actually like to sell that and get a more perminate setup right off of the bat

anyways post what you have and you likes/dislikes about it -- maybe problems you have had and solved --- that kind of stuff

injectors: depends on how much horsepower you want to make
fuel pump
fuel pressure regulator : correct me if i'm wrong but the Aeromotive FPR's for '93 LT1 F-bodies and 96-01 Vette LT1 will work. I would stick to Aeromotive for AFPR.
FMU: stay away from FMU's altogether.
tuning: this is the tricky part. i'd go with E-manage. Or if you can handle it, build and tune your own Megasquirt kit.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

Its really tricky on what fuel setup you want to use especially which engine you have.

Alot of people running turbo eco's are having alot of trouble figureing out fuel setups ..i was one of them. I heard e-manage or any eletronics for the Eco are kinda iffy atm. Im not sure how many people are running SAFC-II's with the eco atm and having sucess with it but i willl tackle that myself in the near future.

I plan on adding a SAFC in the near future when i get a bigger exhaust and a intercooler and pump my turbo up to 6-7 PSI...i can see im starting to lean out at high RPMs at 5 PSI becuase the FMU stops working when the boost stops at 5 PSI (around 4700 RPMs) i start getting into the high 12's - 13ish around 5500+ RPM's. So hopefully the SAFC with be ok to handle that when i go to install it and i can prob turn down some pressure on my FMU to be safe. I dont feel comfortable running alot of fuel PSI through my fuel hose. Only time will tell. All my fuel mods are in my registry.

Good luck

I think i am going to go with the safcII, some rc injectors, a walbro 255 and an afpr

that should be an okay set up for now i want to go with an emanage but I do not want to have alot of issues
