I purchased the vortech sfmu. On the vortech website it says the sfmu has so many different adjustments etc...including a base pressure or idle adjustment. So would I even need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Because the sfmu would be doing that as well as increasing fuel pressure as boost increases right?
you can use a stock regulator with the FMU.
if you have a fuel pressure gauge on your fuel rail you can set static pressure on the FMU with that. Of course you could always set it higher too..
Whether or not you 'need' an adjustable FPR I dont know.

I thought that the difference between a regular FMU and a SFMU is that that SFMU functions as both a FMU and a AFPR, if not why buy a SFMU over a FMU?
does Vortech make a FMU? or only a SFMU? Thanks

i beleive the "super " in FMU refers to it being totally adjustable and doesnt take dics. Thats the difference between FMU and SFMU.

They make both.
