Advance or Retard Timing?

hey guys, im almost done tuning my car, with emanage... i was wondering, in boost should u retard timing? or advance, some people say they have advanced timing. and i heard from another guy 2 retard timing 1 degree per psi of boost or watever, what is the real way 2 adjust timing, with emanage?

general concensus is to retard timing......I however have my timing advanced until about 3500rpm...boost comes on around 2100-2300

Only way to tell is a scan tool and a dyno.

hmmm how much timing should i take outttt in boooost i only have 1 degree retarted right now

I was wandering the same myself. Will be running 7-10psi & retarding w/ cranecams di6 ign, adjustable timing retard & 3 bar map sensor. was told up to 4dig retard.
~My first thing, finish setup.
~2nd thing, dyno (shifted is right) only way to be sure.
~3rd, serve and enjoy.

if you want my advice please refer to my post in this thread before you do anything with timing. the stock pcm does a great job
