as some of you guys know i got the proto tpye gm s/c
how do you guys know what program is in your pcm ? im trying the theft learn to see if my cav will run on the s/f comp that the motor cam from
well i pulled the map sensor off it and it has the same map as my cav does now ? obviously the car was runing with the s/c on it
the # on the injectors are 17124531 , they are really short , and have a 1" spacer between them and the fuel rail
GM has me really confused ???
well the 00 sufire pcm that came with the motor doesnt seam to like my cav ??
it will start and run , it will back up , but AS SOON AS you put it in drive it shuts off , like you turned the key off
anyone have any ideas about that ????

possible its from an Automatic? do you have a vin? I can run the vin, and get the pcm/ecm code....

Hes putting it into an auto car.
the pcm said 2.4 auto sunfire on it , it also said production(non-s/c) , and had 195/65/15 on it
guess i need to get my cav pcm flashed and get the 2bar map , since the proto has the same part # map as my stock 1
send me that ECM....... I'm intrested in seeing whats on it.

the pcm seamed to be happy when the car was outta gear , and seamed to have alot more power , it was also richer cause you could smell it
