I have a 1g dsm bov on the way and i need to kno how i can crush it, so it will hold a good amount of boost. ill be low boosted when i get the turbo on but i just want the bov ready for when i turn it up

I could be wrong but i thought the reason for crushing the BOV was so it opened up sooner on vacuum?

the 1g dsm bov's can b crushed so they can hold a high amount of boost. but i have no idea how to do it. dont kno what it means buy crushed

ok unless your pushing insane amount of boost (15+psi)..don't bother tons of people say the DSM blow off valves are good to about 15psi before they leak then you would want to crush them, which is exactly that, take a hammer to it

tap down on the top with a hammer, you just want to "crush" the top in were the spring is to put more pressure on the diaphram. Only go about 1/8 of an inch.
