hey, what's the best supercharger for the eco? i plan on boosting mine after i replace the internals. i've done SOME research and only found the Vortech at RSM Racing and i'm looking for first hand opinions from people who owns one or know people who do. thanx
"Driving Excitement"
rsm makes a great blower kit, there is also a procharger coming out, and gm has started taking orders for their s/c kits, noone knows the numbers on the other kits yet though.
ok, out of the three which one would you say is the best? i'm looking for good response off the line and coming out of corners....
"Driving Excitement"
Not to jack the thread or anything but tell me a little more about this procharger and who makes it.
Thanks
Rich
i don't know too much about it (obviously being the author of this thread) but i know Procharger is a company it self. and they make centrifugal s/c rather than the twin screw.
"Driving Excitement"
the rsm is the only one that actually exists and isnt still in some r and d phase
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
That one has my vote....
Ran the first autoX with it on sunday. Nice power out of corners, throttle modulation is important. Spins the 225/45 falken azenis on a 7.5" wide wheel nicely.
12.770 @ 111.99 Intercooled Eaton M62
IMO, the Eaton is the best for low end and the OHC nature of our engines will deliver the top end so its a little more balanced.
I have the RSM kit and love it. Everything kick u in the ass at 4000rpm+ into the owerband and when the boost hits. Its a high rpm screamer!

What little custom work? The TB bracket? With the charger which GM will supply they provide the adaptor for it.......
