When I installed my turbocharger I promised myself 8-9 psi tops.

14 psi later on a stock bottom end and scared to turn the key every day....

After having to return my car back to stock for the Smog Ref I'm putting the turbo back on this weekend and I can't f'n wait. I was going to hold out for either the GM SC reflash or HPT, but F it. I'll just turn the boost down.

14psi on Stock Bottom End! Thats crazy. So that means you're still at the factory compression ratio and everything? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question but i'm trying to learn as fast as possible, lol.

I heard that in cities abundant with street racing they send you to a ref station once then after that, they take the car from you if it illegally modified.
Any truth to that, or not inforced in your area?

The ref never mentioned anything. He did say he has quite a few repeat customers.

DJ pushing it to 22 psi on the stock bottom end is why his (blown) engine is sitting in my shed as a core
