Well you live in FL with no IC and running 6 psi on a auto 3speed. Sounds like yer at right about where you should be all things considered.

Dude You NEED an intercooler. I was running 4 psi on my car non intercooled. Then I got a free DSM side mount so I said what the hell and put it on. I noticed a huge differance, and the car runs so much cooler and smoother. I wasnt knocking either way also . some one is bound to say it

250cc injectors at 51 psi can only support about 140hp. So your probally running dangerously lean.

Invest in a wideband or take it to a dyno to find out for sure.

i dont know the real hp of the car that was just a guess . i was told 250cc -270cc inj would be ok on 6-8 psi ? i have some 310cc inj the shop that sold them to me said on those i should be able to run 10psi intercooled on them and be safe? thanks for the info though

If you want it to run cool put in an aftermarket fan on a toggle switch and take out the thermostat. I know your not supposed to do this but my 2.2 now runs at 150 all day long compared to 220.

do you have a wideband? EGT gauge?

these are pretty important with an n/a car thats been turbo charged.

All I can say is you better spend alot more money on more than just an intercooler...
