ok, just like the title says, Log Style VS Header Style, which manifold is better? what are the pro's & con's of both!?
website comming soon!
Log style = cheaper, and possibly more heat retention.
But, it creates more backpressure in the manifold, so depending on the cam, you could have a better chance for reverse flow.
Header style = better flow, less backpressure, higher gas velocity.
But also more expensive, needs more bracing, more materials, more R&D time, and possibly more heat loss.

yeah its all heat and pressure.

don't forget, log style = space saver
got limited space? we got log mani =D
equal length manifolds are not only beautiful to look at, they are marvels to me. i know what it takes to make one. plus they work better for high boost.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
thnk you all for your input!

Wow, beautifully said!
Hey man, I keep clicking on the link to your site and it's not working. Is it down temporarily?
I wanted to see some pics for log-style ECOTEC manifolds, w/ external wastegate. Do you have those? Just wanted to look that's all. lol.
Adrock, you rock so well
Id say the saem, for low boost say 10psi and under a log mani will do just fine.
But if your looking for max power and high boost then an equal length header design is the only choice, becuase at high boost the log will cause flow problems and loss of power.

I agree!! To add, for those who may not know, many "header" style manifolds are not "equal length" manifolds. Although this isn't as important when boosted, it's still nice to what you're paying for is what you're getting when you're shopping for parts.
