I was wonder what size does the downpipe has to be when coming from the turbo, and where do I get the downpipe from? Is it something that come along with a turbo kit? I am just not clear on the down situation.
thanks
If i am correct (and i sometimes am) you can get a downpipe from an exhaust shop. They can bend you one. around 6 psi of boost i think you go with a 2 1/2" pipe. Or thats what NJHK tells me.

the Jbody market of today is still a small one. A down pipe for a turbo is a heavly custom job due to the fact that different turbos mean different DP's. but I belive that maxiumboost.net will be making them for his kit soon. and you can probably swap them to another kit.

Yeah, we'll have those available with the kits in about 3-4 weeks (for the 2.4L first, then the others weeks after).

yea like said its custom...and it isnt to expensive, id check your little side garages that do work on cars becuase i did and he happened to know how to weld and do a lot of custom work and i saved a decent amount of money on a custom DP and a custom Intake bend....look around you can save $$$$ and the quality could also be better...also check how there work is when u stop in see if they look like there good also...just stuff to help you out...

Its rather easy to do if you have a couple of U bends from Jeg's or Summit, a cut off saw, and a welder. I made mine in about 4 hours one day, taking my time, BS'ing, and making it fit nice this time around.
O noes!
