?? about GM supercharger kit

Hey guys,

I was just on the GM website looking at superchargers and they said the application was for the 2000 to 2002 models. will it work with my 96 engine? i dont't see the difference bewteen the 96-99 and 00-02's. can anybody help me out here thanks!

you gotta get rid of your egr valve , change your starter to the 99-02 small starter , and do your own fuel mods

is the 96-98 2.4L different from the 99 2.4L? i would had thought that major changes were done after 2000 with the engine modifications. just curious on this.

the computers are different. Starter is different. 96-98 has EGR.

but this whole setup on that website is being run off a pre 2k ecu. Lets say I wanted the configuration update that 2k+ get with the charger. How hard, and what would be needed to wire in a 2k+ ecu?
But is it even worth the extra cash to get the conifigurations done..what would be the ups and downs??
