I want to Dyno test my car but am not sure what to look for? What should I know about testing a blown car?

What is the goal of the dyno, a hp/tq graph, or are you looking to tune it? Will the dyno provide you a RPM vs A/F vs TQ vs HP graph, or some combination of those?

How do you keep tabs on timing and knock at a dyno with only an safc? You can't.

Go to a dyno that has a wideband o2 sensor connected to their system. You can use the a/f curve to add/subtract fuel where you need it in the power band.

Yeah but you can't graph it according to the powerband. Only then would you find it truly useful.

Tuning based on a/f should be sufficient for this guy considering the modifiable parameters he has on his car.
