how much would it be to completly rebuilt the 5 speed izuzu tranny?
should i give it to a shop to do it, or should i just buy the parts and do it my self. is it hard to do? i have worked in a mechanics garage for 4 years, but i have never touched a tranny. how much will it cost me
mine just went out and i got it priced for them to do everything, pull out, rebuild, put in bc if they didnt, it wouldnt be warrenty would not apply and the lowest i got was $1347 and that was minimum. they said it would prob be higher.
I spent $1300.00 last May replacing diff gears. For an extra grand I could have put a rebuilt in,and I should have because the tranny still feels like crap!!!
i just get a 'new' tranny on e-bay. now. it says its not rebuilt. but, even if it is, its a great price. $430 about. shipped.
