Some of you may remember
My post, in which I explained that my dad didn't want me to put in a ShiftPlus.
Well, after not being able to return it, I convinced him to let me put it in.
Now my motor mounts are shot, and he's saying that it's the shiftplus that did that (though I only drive in stage 1).
Is that possible?

never heard of that, just replace them with some upgraded mounts. Cost you 100 bucks i think.

the mounts are very loose stock , and will let the motor move around alot , with the shift plus it will amplify the movement
get the upper insert and the lower mount , and you should be good , but there will still be some movement , as the trans mount is not made in the after market
ive got just the lower on my 00 and havent had any problems , and ive got both on my 97 , and no problems
thats completely normal? engines have to move like that so they don't vibrate the crap out of your car, i don't know why u think they are shot, mine move even more then that, i also have had the shiftplus on my car over 30k, and my mounts are fine, your dads just trying to find fault with the shifplus
Its not how fast your car goes....its how much nerve the driver has to push it that fast.
yeah looks normal to me , like i said our mounts allow for alot of movement
