okay, simple question, are the transmissions the same from a Z24 and a 2.2 Cavy Coupe with a manual transmission? I want a Z24 engine on my car and I need to know if I need a whole different transmission or if the one i have will fit. Also, if you know how much a Z24 engine costs let me in on the info.

No, they are different. You will need a new transmission.

Brand spanking new engines are about $2500, you can get them from junkyards cheaper, but that would be like asking "how much does a car cost"... you just have to shop around, as you were told in your other thread.
