ok guys i have a 1997 2.2 cav. i was having problems with the transmission and today the guy called me and told me that my differental was messed up. he told me 1600 for a new one and 1400 to not put one in. so what does that exactly mean. any help is apprecaited before i go pay that much money tomorrow.
That is what i was thinking. What exactly does the diff(sp?) do? I just need to get all my facts straight before i give them any money tomorrow.
The differential is mechanism between the axles made up of gears that lets one wheel run at a different speed than the other while turning.
