Hey all havent been on here in a while, but the clutch died in my car at 104,500 miles so i had a new clutch and slave cylinder put in along with some lower balljoints...anyway my question is now that i have this new clutch, it engages about an inch from the floor where it used to engage about 3 or 4 inches out, i know these clutches arent adjustable but its so hard getting used to this little space for engagement, is there anything i can do? Also the pedal has very little effort now, where it use to have some pretty stiff push to it.
To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."
don't worry. that's how my new clutch was until i had to break the clutch in. that normal. after a while your pedal will become normal. that is get back to it orignal position.
