I have a 2000 sunfire 2.4 automatic. So this morning I go to leave for work and start the car, but when I put it into reverse nothing happens. I also tried to put it into all of the other gears but it never shifted. The shift knob also felt very loose when shifting it.
I didn't have a chance to check the fluid level, as I was already late for work so I just hopped in my truck and left. Does anybody think I just might be low on fluid?
Any advice would be great.

i had the same thing happen to my 98 z24 and it had leaked out all the tranny fluid.We filled it back up but like 2 months later my tranny is starting to go.
