if you drive it every day you will get used to it
since i was driving a friends car for like 15-20 minutes , i didnt have time to get used to it
I honestly don't think the 3 is that harsh. It's grabs a lot more than stock, that's for sure, but it's not quite the on/off feel. The chatter is a bit annoying at times, though...

3 is the way to go...spec hit nail on the head with the description "the ultimate street/strip clutch". it grabs nicely and has no hint of slippage, and on the streets its real nice once its broken in. but like ian said the chatter can get annoying, but thats one downside i can live with

The 4 actually isnt as bad as i thought it would be.It takes a little gettin used to at first but u can ride it off the line and it feels almost stock. It grabs like crazy and other than the chatter at idle i have no complaints.
I got the stage 3 and I think the same thing... the only thing that takes a little getting used to is starting off in 1st.... is that the "chatter" everyone else is talking about? But after you drive it for a day or two you get used to it. It just sucks getting out of my grand am with the spec stage III clutch in it and getting into the sunfire with oem clutch... lol thats an adjustment...
does the stage 2 chatter?
i have stage II and the Spec flywheel and i love them both.. two great mods.
I have spec alum flywheel and stage 3 clutch. Between break in and getting used to it it was almost un-bareable. Now that Its all broken in and im used to it I will never go anthing lower!! I absolutly love this clutch, in time it is rideable and grabs very well! The only complaint I have is I broke my tranny and at one axle last time I was at the track!!
