Well, After a 17.9 at 94mph at the track i realized my clutch/tranny was sick... After cottmans ripped it apart the found that the clutch was not disengaging and the clutch was burnt.. Funny thing is, there is only 500 miles on it. It was a 6 puck ACT race clutch... is it true that a race clutch can't handle street driving? I just can't understand how the clutch is toast already.... motor is finally broke in and the clutch is gone...
What clutch/flywheel combos are you guys running? There is a street clutch but it only handles 340 ft/lbs torque... the race one handle 430.... So i don't know what to do?

sorry man i have nver herd of "no brake in"
i think u messed it up but i dunno
sorry but 500 is recommended, regardless. u need to seat the clutch and flywheel together. i have act street clutch and fidanza flywheel, and i love it more and more every day. i need to change out my throw out bearing, cuz i was to broke to change it out at the time of my trans upgrade. oh well. how much hp/tq are u pushing to not be able to use a 340tq clutch.
