id stick with the B&M shifter , ive had 1 in my g/fs cav since they came out , never had any problems

the cheap-o ebay 1 works , but i wouldnt trust it

and the fidanza 1 is fairly new , but should work as well

Get the 80 dollar fidanza one. Its the almost the exact same as the B&M just costs 80 bones instead of 140-160

Some guy had one on Ebay and said it was ball bearing setup and the pivot point on the shifter was located in the middle and not the bottom of the shifter. He said that this gives u up to 50% less shifting. My question is what makes it a short shifter, smaller shifter or the pivot point is located in a different place giving u shorter throws.

i bought mine from cosmoracing.com, I kinda wish I just stayed with the shortened stock piece or went with a B&M. It'd proably be a different story if the cosmo came with a knob and I didnt shorten it... but the thing has destroyed my shiftboot.

Oh yeah, I couldnt tell the difference between a shortened stocker, and the cosmo (which ripped of B&Ms design).

Cheers,
Owen
