My buddy and I just finished rebuilding a 3 speed auto from my 2000 cavy. Put the tranny in this weekend and i started it up today. I shifted through all the gears and got the fluid going through. I put it in reverse and went down the driveway. It seemed like the car didn't want to go. then i put it into drive and no problems until i hit 70mph on the expressway and the tranny wouldn't shift into third gear. The car just doesn't feel right. Any suggestions out there would be appreciated thanks

You just rebuilt the car and pushed it THAT hard...? No wonder why its broken. You gotta give the fluid time to work itself in.

where should i go from here?? pull it out again and start over???
