hey im not sure if this goes in maintanence or not (spelling) but when i come to a stop i hear a pop from driver side of engine and from dead stop it wont take of until i rev it to like 2000 rpm whats going on. it is a 98 2200 3 speed auto please help

kinda sounds like you might have a bad motor mount


id check out those first , the upper and lower

how do i tell if there bad torn bushing or something

Check your trans fluid .. make sure its not low and make sure its not turned brown. I doubt its a mount.

checked fluid while engine idling and it says its like a pint to full what the hell but when engine is off it says it at right level should i drain all the fluid anr refill?

i have noticed that it is manly doing this after i drive the car a little and now when i take turns and accelerate it surges like 300 rpm should i go to tranny shop and does any one now of i good one in houston around the jones and 1960 area

It doesn't sound like a bad tranny if you go into a shop and your like hey i think my transmission went, then they will be yeah i think your right. Go ahead and get the fluid changed out and a new transmission filter if you want, if you have some good mileage on it couldn't hurt. also see if you can wiggle the engine with your hand ( looking for bad mount. and see if something is loose. with the surging, make sure your air filter is clean and see if there is any junk on your IAT sensor, clean your TB and maybe some injector cleaner. sometimes a little TLC can do wonders.
