I took my car to the dealer and had the clutch replaced. They had my car for like two weeks and said they put the clutch in and it wasn't right. They turned the flywheel and then I guess they found out that the flywheel is convex. I was a mechanic for over 5 years and never heard of such a thing. So they ended up replacing the flywheel at no charge. Is this a true statement, that the flywheel can't be turned and it is convex??? Thanks, Jay

I'll give you a bump, because I don't know the answer myself. Goodluck.
....convex flywheel? lol..no such thing, no way. how could it rotate smoothly? that is like saying I have "convex rotors". Someone was lying to you friend. there are so many shady people in the mechanic industry and body shop world. I was a body man for a year or so. people get taken advantage of so much in both fields. I dunno..
