hey guys,

i have a 96 z with the 2.4.... i am boosted at about 8psi... yesterday the tranny definately died. the part that sucks is that it just locked up, wasnt even on it. but last weekend she took some hard launches with my 2-step rev-limiter @3000 rpm's.....haha.. o well thats what we live for right. anyway, i am just wondering what cars have the tranny i will need. i know sunfires, and cavalier's but i've heard talk u cant use a newer j tranny in my 96. however, i think i might have already found one, i know where a pretty much brand new jasper rebuild is which he says in a cavalier with the 2.3 which is only the 95 so... i think it will work with my 96??? if god loves me it will, thanks guys.
