i have a 96 z24, and i am wondering if there is any way to swap the auto. tranny i have with a 5 spd auto tranny? i know there are 5 spd autos. for some other cars/engines, but i dont know about the Z24s.

i have an auto now with the B&M shift kit, and i love it. and i dont want to swap out for a manual....just figured i would throw that in since there will be people asking why i dont put a manual in it.

for where i live, a manual is not practical. but if there are no 5 spd autos for my engine, is it possible to change the gears in the tranny i have? either add another gear or change the ratios?

lastly: where can i get a high performance torque convertor for my car? anyone know?

Yes officer I knew the speed limit was 50

I'd be more practical to convert it to RWD. Then you could change out the ring and pinion gears. Cause there are few 5 spd autos out. (Gm) and none of them for your car.
