I was just quoted $220 for the slave cylinder. WTF? does anyone know where to get one for cheaper?

I can sell you mine for less but you have to change the seal that is on it.
It is for 2003 Cavalier.

Hey, i've gotta questionslve cylinder.....okay mine is leaking and i need to change it....so do i have to drop the tranny to get to it? or is there a shortcut?

Buy a new SPEC clutch for $350 and get a new slave cylinder free

Your also sporting a Isuzu.

To gain access to the slave cylinder you have to drop the transmission.

No offense to SunCAVI, but I would not buy a slave cylinder that has a blown seal. For that matter I have 4 or so in my garage for the getrag transmission. If it was that easy I wouldn't have four our there now would I?

GMpartsdirect has them for that price or cheaper I think?

Dealer will probably run you around $300.

If you blew your clutch by putting in a new one and bleeding it, verify that your slave cylinder is hitting the teeth on the pressure plate. By measuring.

Just my FYI's. I have only dropped my clutch 4-6 times because of a faulty clutch.
