HEy guys,
did a 2.4l 4spd auto swap into my cousins 2.2l. Now, its leaking auto ATF, and i think i may have overfilled it. Does it have an overfill tube that dumps it if its overfilled? or is there a leak even after i had it running for 20min before he left.

theres a vent tube on the top that might bleed out the extra fluid, but i think you would have to over fill it a considerable amount. start it up and pull the plug on the side to check the level. the fluid should be level with the hole. the plug is on the right side of the tranny next to the axle shaft.(sitting in the car) if its to full it will drain out to were it needs to be. thats what i would check first and if the fluid level is good, check the cooler lines and so forth. hope this helps. good luck.

Make sure you have the car level when you do ^
NOT THREAD JACKING , BUT WHY DIDNT GM PUT A DIPSTICK IN THIS TRANSMISSION ? WOULD HAVE BEEN ALOT MORE SIMPLE!
