I plan to change my fluid in my 2001 Z24. I know where the fill is, and know about the plug on the back to check and see if it is full. Is that the same plug to drain the fluid with? Is there one on the bottem of the tranny?

Not sure if im correct, but Ive always taken off the pan. Which means a new pan gasket though...
I should have been more clear. This is on a 5 speed.

If you look at the bottom of the trans it would be pretty aparent where the drain plug is.
My Car
The bolt is on the drivers side of the transmission near the bottom of the trans. Pretty much in the middle of the assembly. It's on the driver's side wall of the trans. below the axle. At least it is on my 02 2200 getrag.
