I was coming home from work today and the car felt like it was driving weird. It felt like it wasn't shifting. So I checked to make sure I had it in drive and not 2nd (I have the 3spd auto) It was in drive, so I wonder if I messed up my tranny. I don't know a whole lot about transmissions, so I was just wondering if I did screw up my tranny, how much would it cost to get a new one? Preferably a 5 speed. I know it varies, but I just need a general estimate...

Keep in mind, you would need to have all the other parts (cables, pedals, ECM, harness, etc) to do the swap also.

my in laws had a problem with their tranny. or so it seemed. it shifted hard and some other stuff I don't remember. Anyways they thought it was the tranny. They got the battery changed and haven't had a problem since. Damned if I know!!!
