Hi Guys
I want to know what is the final rpm post to be at when I drive 60mph? bc my tach says anywhere from 2500 to 3000 and I never owned a 3spd in my life and my last sunfire i had was a 4spd and the final rpm driving around 60mph was 2000 to 2500 and I just want to know what post to be my final rpm going 60mph and what i mean by this is the 1st shift rpm then the 2nd shift in rpm and the final drive ratio shift rpm.

the 1st gear shifts at 40 mph, 2nd shifts at 70 and the 3rd never shifts...unless you mean rpms it doesnt matter, you have an auto....

not always...

there are quite a few gear ratios available in the 3 speed transmission. its different from car to car, but generally within 10mph of what you said.
