Hello, I have a 00 2.2 auto cavy, and the other day I (stupidly) left my lights on and ran my battery completely dead. The dome light wouldn't even come on. Now I notice a slight difference in shifting. When shifting from 1st to 2nd gear, there is a slight pause that wasn't there before.

A friend of mine said that I would need to drive for a total of 4 hours for it to 're-learn' my shifting style or something. My worst fear is that my tranny is going bad, however I kinda doubt it. The car has only 107500 on it, and I don't beat on it alot, so it should be okay. Any advice?

You are over due for a tranny fluid change (yes even with the sealed tranny)

he is right, it will re-learn the curves, but it will prolly take a couple days not a couple hours.
