we just swaped my busted ass motor for the same swap so i can sell it with a running motor and got it fired up today...
they took it for a test drive and it seemed like it upshifted to early and was sluggish
i have a 97 3spd auto. cav
so they took some tranny fluid out because they had too much according to the dip stick.... since then it will not move in any gear, but it don't sound like any slipping going on.... is there an easy fix or solution to this....
is there enough or not enough fluid but we're not seeing it right?
why would it seem like it's upshifting too fast and seem sluggish?
does any of this make sense
thanks

A friend of mine had the same issue with a galant. to make a long story short...upshifted high, lot of tranny fluid, not shifting into gears= His tranny was shot.
thats what i was thinking^
Check your T.V. cable. Is it hooked up? Is it adjusted properly?
Did you check the trans fluid with the car running in park? Or with the engine off?
If you checked it with the engine off.... you took out fluid when you didn't need to
and that's why it's not working now.
3 speed autos ARE slugs. If the TV cable isn't adjusted properly, it will be even worse.
