I was wondering if anyone can tell a decent brand taht makes slap shift kit for a 98 sunfire 2.2l 3 speed. I looked into hurst wiht no luck. any help would be appreciated.

lol, no such thing as a "slap shift kit" there are two things, slap shifters, they are mainly universal and are up to you to mount. or shift kits. for that trans check out Transgo they make a really decent kit for the 3spd autos...

and go to hurst, cheetah, etc for the universal shifter, you'll want the "forward" pattern.
