what does and autotrans interceptor for? well i know it makes your auto shift better but thats it and i want one cuz i dont like the way my auto shifts but i dont know nothing about.
can anyone just give me some info on this?

it reduces the gear slipage durring shifts by increasing the line pressure. I'd suggest the interceptor over the B&M shift plus just because the inceptor is plug and play (shift + is not) and ALOT more adjustable

Trying to to jack your thread, but will the intercepter work on a 3 speed auto?

No because the 4 speed auto trans is computer controlled, where as the the 3 speed is mechanically controlled. The interceptor "modifies" the computer signal in order to increase line pressure.

With the 3 speed "slush box" you can adjust the throttle cable to change the shift points, but your not going to see any worthwhile gains. Your best bet would be to find a valve kit and have that installed by a COMPETENT tranny shop
