hey guys, went to the track last night and encountered some tranny probs i wanna see what you guys think the problem is.

do 1 run on my new tires, fooling with what psi to use with them, run a 14.4 cause of a crappy 60 foot, go back for 2nd run and i take off the line and my tranny trys to slip at shiftpoint from 2nd to 3rd. So after that i pulled over in the track parking lot and let it sit for 10 mins or so. Go back for a 3rd run and it goes through second and slips from second to third. Took the car out today and it was fine, no slipping or anything on the street. Could this be caused by my tranny going out or just by it overheating or by the fluid needing to be changed.

Fluid hasnt been changed in a sad 30k or so and i dont have a tranny cooler currently. Any help?

using the 4 speed 40t40e trans btw with no shift kit.

Could be overheating the fluid.

Change the fluid and get a "shift kit"
Your trans will love it.

and if you get the shift kit just throw on a tranny cooler...they're cheaper than hell and will save the life if you have the trans kit turned up all the way.
