does the tranny have any effect on the interior dash lights? i think someone told me that because the transmission is electric, it can have an effect on my lights. like 2 days i found some tranny fluid on my driveway and now all my lights turned off. when i turn my headlights on, onylt the headlights turn on and everything else is pitch black in my car. i'm going to have to take it back to the shop.
last time i had my tranny repaired the same thing happened and after i got it back from the shop, my lights were working again. so i guess it does..
its a 2001 2.2 auto.
Uhh... not directly. There's probably a common wiring problem, something related to the ground that's attached to the engine block. That could affect your lights
